Steady Flow is a faucet system that redefines temperature control through horizontal sliding balance instead of rotational adjustment.
Context Analysis
Every day, interactions with faucets happen countless times a day.
Bathroom faucets are one of the most frequently used products in daily life.
Despite their constant use, the fundamental interaction of temperature control has remained largely unchanged.
Most systems rely on rotational handles, where small movements can quickly shift between hot and cold water.
Design Intent
“A minimal cylindrical faucet that redefines water delivery through a horizontal spout, emphasizing clarity, balance, and intuitive interaction.”
Interaction Flow
The mechanism combines a guided rail with calibrated friction resistance, ensuring controlled transitions without abrupt shifts.
Aligning spatial direction with thermal logic allows users to predict temperature change through movement alone.

CMF (Color, Material, Finish)
Brushed stainless steel → enhances durability while delivering a clean, premium aesthetic
Matte black grip → provides a non-slip tactile surface and creates a strong visual focal point
Red/blue end caps → offer intuitive temperature indication through immediate visual cues
